For this Feature Friday post I would love to introduce Jessica Storch. Her story is very touching.. Jessica became a grief guide through a personal experience and I would love for you to hear her story below. Her business is theGrief22 located in Carlisle, PA and she serves her clients virtually.
Hi, I am Jessica Storch, Founder of theGrief22 where I am a Grief Guide. I began theGrief22 after the loss of my own 17 year old son in 2020. Very unexpectedly, we lost Robbie in a tragic car accident. My journey with grief has been very unique and I am passionate about helping others to celebrate their loved one in a way that is appropriate for them.
I have been always been very open about what this has been like for me both in writing and speaking which has since expanded to me offering the grief guide service to others. I believe that every person's grief journey is unique and as a griever you get to choose how you navigate that path. I also believe that when you need support that you should have a safe, understanding place with those who have experienced grief to be your guide and support.
My grief work is very intuitively led, encompasses connection with lost loved ones, permission to grieve, and the22Celebration of life (celebrating in your own way)
I really technically started theGrief22 in February 2023 but have been doing this work since November 2020.
I began this journey because my son blessed me with the most wonderful gift when he left this earth, a gift of resilience, strength, and courage to share my journey that has transitioned into a way to help others. In this journey with you I help you understand that even though you’re experiencing grief…you can still experience happiness too.
I would love to offer you support and guidance.
